"Someday...someday that's going to be me up there!"

And he seemed to never doubt it for a moment, an exuberance so absolute as to be unquestionable. The more jaded of the pair, Andrew was quietly awed by the younger spider-monkey. He couldn't remember ever being so certain about anything.

The stars above twinkled down merrily, a beautiful radiance unto themselves. Andrew could certainly understand Dash's excitement, and he could even believe his little cousin would someday get there too. After all, the Oikonny clan had long been haralded for their outstanding ambitions, and thus far there was nothing to suggest that Dash was any different.

But what about him? Where would he go?

Dash turned his bright blue eyes towards Andrew. "Andy, maybe we could go together! It'd be fun! Zooming all around the Z quadrant, blasting up space pirates..."

The older, taller, awkward macaque simply nodded, "Maybe someday."

First deviation of the new year! Woo hoo! Yeah, and it's all colorful and stuffs...(though I had a hard time getting the shadows to do what I wanted, and I ended up erasing some of them).

For those of you who missed the original sketch...Andrew Oikonny and his second cousin, Dashyl "Dash" Bowman, from Star Fox. Typically villains/anti-heros, here they're just innocent lil' kids, having fun pointing at the stars. Yayness.
